About Kota the Triceratops
The Pleo dinosaur is sooo 2007. The new robot dino on the block is bigger, badder and goes by the name of Kota the Triceratops.
Kota the Triceratops is a ride-on dinosaur that stands 3 foot tall and is the must-have Christmas toy for 2008. Launched in September 2008, make sure you pre-order your Kota Dinosaur early to avoid the disappointment that many prospective Pleo owners endured last year.
Kota is a life-size (and life-like!) baby dinosaur toy that is sure to be the most memorable toy that a preschooler could ever hope for. With eleven sophisticated sensors, the Kota reacts to both touch and sound. Roar at Kota and he will roar back, tickle his belly or under his chin and he give a warm, affectionate laugh.
Like all dinosaurs, the Kota gets hungry – quickly. That is why manufacturers PlaySkool also thrown in a bunch of leafy snacks to keep Kota satisfied to which he will audibly munch in contentment.
At 40 inches tall, Kota the Triceratops is even large enough to be ridden on by toddlers, giving them the wild experience of a lifetime as Kota stomps his feet whilst your child holds onto the safety handle situated near the back of his head.
Whilst riding the Kota dinosaur, a selection of jungle sounds and racy adventure themed songs are played giving your child an even more authentic dinosaur experience when combined with the realistic stomping sounds he makes whilst walking.
The Kota pet robot is powered by six traditional D-type batteries so does not require any additional charging station. He also comes with a volume control switch, so you can tone down those dinosaur roars if required!
